Job Summary

The Department of Political Science at the University of Georgia invites applications for two tenure track assistant professorships starting in August 2018. These positions are part of the Department’s Political Behavior hiring initiative. Candidates’ research interests for one position are expected to focus on political psychology/behavior. For the other position, possible areas of expertise include, but are not limited to: voting behavior, public opinion, race & politics, political psychology, identity politics, women & politics, and campaign politics.

Minimum Qualifications

Qualifications include a Ph.D. or near completed Ph.D. in political science, and demonstrated potential for excellence in scholarship. If still ABD, the Ph.D. requirement will have to be completed by June 30, 2018.

Preferred Qualifications

Strong quantitative skills are encouraged but not required.
