Job Summary

The University of Georgia Department of English ( seeks to hire a Part-time Instructor. Teaching load may vary from one to three courses per semester.

Qualifications: M.A., M.F.A., or Ph.D. (Ph.D. preferable) in English or related discipline and a minimum of two years college composition teaching experience. Desired: Evidence of graduate coursework in Rhetoric and Composition, administrative and/or teaching experience in FYC; Ph.D. in Rhetoric and Composition, English, or related discipline.

Applications should include a letter of application, vita with references, sample teaching materials or a teaching portfolio and three confidential letters of recommendation. Review of completed applications will begin immediately, and will continue until positions are filled.
