Job Summary

The Department of Management in the Terry College of Business at the University of Georgia seeks qualified applicants for a full time, non-tenure track Lecturer position starting August 2018.

Candidates with a Ph.D. in Management or related areas are preferred, but those with a Master degree with 5 or more years of private- or public-sector work experience in management or related areas will also be considered. Specifically, evidence of successful teaching experience is required in the form of student surveys/evaluations, peer evaluations, or annual reviews; research is not a consideration. As such, we seek individuals who can provide high quality instruction at the undergraduate and MBA levels within the general management area with broad teaching interests in principles of management, human resources management, leadership, ethics, or strategy as well as other topics, as needed. The successful candidate will also be proactively involved in departmental service and undergraduate or Master student mentoring.

The position may be renewed annually, contingent on effectiveness. Compensation is competitive.

The University of Georgia is the first public-chartered university in the nation and the Terry College is the state’s flagship business school, with undergraduate, full-time MBA, professional MBA, and executive MBA programs consistently ranked among the top-20 public universities.
