Position: The Department of Epidemiology and Biostatistics in the College of Public Health at the University of Georgia invites applicants for a non-tenure track full-time lecturer position. The position is an academic year appointment (9 months) with an opportunity to supplement salary during the summer. The anticipated starting date for the position is August 2018.

Qualifications: Applicants must have an appropriate terminal degree such as a doctorate in epidemiology, biostatistics or a closely related field. A strong track record of successful and innovative teaching in biostatistics at the undergraduate level is preferred.

Responsibilities: The successful candidate will teach 4-5 courses or sections per semester in introductory and intermediate biostatistics at the undergraduate level. Some teaching of epidemiology courses might also be expected. The candidate needs to have a commitment to developing and using innovative teaching approaches to optimize student learning and engagement.
